The Nuvo bass offers a unique take on form and function. The design is exceptionally three-dimensional in terms of aesthetics, borrowing heavily from atomic era design. The tone can be described as deep and articulate with a strong fundamental and acoustic resonance.

The Nuvo Shortscale

Our shortscale version of the Nuvo is every bit as robust as it's big brother.  The perfect instrument for the traveling bassist, or anyone who prefers a short scale that doesn't sacrifice tone. The short scale Nuvo is expressive, responsive, highly playable and above all, way cool. 

BODY CONTOUR STYLES:

CHAMFERED - A hand carved bevel travels around the instrument, varying in thickness and depth.  This is a great option if you want a high grade or exotic wood "droptop". Contrasting accent layers and veneers are also available.

AERO-CARVED - The body is fully carved to be as ergonomic as possible.  The carve of the top falls away smoothly, blending the player and instrument together.  *This option os not available for instruments with a drop-top.
